How To Book


Detailed Itinerary

  • Coach or drive to Kaiteriteri where you meet your Guide to board the Vista cruise departing at 9.30 am.
  • Cruise the spectacular granite coastline to the golden beaches of the Marine Reserve.
  • 11.00 am: Your Guide will introduce you to your stable, double kayak with full instructions and safety brief, then it's on to the water to enjoy exploring some of the best sea kayaking territory on the Abel Tasman coast.
  • Approximately 2.5 hours paddling: Your Guide will design each day to suit, depending on tides, weather conditions, your interests and abilities. Depending on conditions, paddle out the Seal Colony on Tonga Island. Relax on a golden sand beach and take a short bush or beach walk.
  • 2.30 pm: Rejoin the Vista Cruise.
  • 4.00 pm: Return to Kaiteriteri in time to catch connecting coaches if required.

What To Bring

We Provide:

Skilled friendly guides and top quality kayaking equipment including spray jacket, bouyancy vest and dry bags for clothing and camera.

You provide:

Towel, hat, sunscreen, warm top (plus polypropylene thermals if you have them), swimsuit, change of clothes, walking shoes.
Lunch: Bring your own lunch, or order a scrumptious Picnic Lunch the day before you travel with us.
