Delicious Kiwi Lunches
Delicious homemade picnic lunches are included in all our multi-day kayaking and walking breaks, and are available to purchase separately for our day trip guests.
There are no shops and only one restaurant (at Awaroa) within the boundaries of the Abel Tasman National Park, so our overnight breaks include delicious picnic lunches.
Our day trip guests can choose to order a picnic lunch; purchase light meals, snacks and hot drinks on our Vista Cruise catamaran; or are welcome to bring their own lunch. Picnic lunches must be ordered by 6pm on the night before your day trip, or at the time of booking.
Available year round:
• A selection of seasonal light meals plus hot and cold drinks are available to buy aboard the Vista Cruise
• We can prepare a substantial picnic lunch for you with local, wholesome specialities - $20
Available low season - 19 April to 19 October:
• Onboard Barbecue Lunch $25
Onboard Barbecue Menu:
On the grill: 200gm Prime Ribeye Steak -OR- Gourmet Vegetarian Sausages
Seasonal salads: Country Potato Salad, Ranch Coleslaw and Fresh Green Salad
On the side: Fresh Bread Rolls, Butter, Salt & Pepper, Condiments & Dressings.
Please note: This is our usual menu but contents may vary according to availability. Please check at time of booking to confirm menu details. To avoid disappointment, order your barbecue no later than 6pm on the night before your trip with us.
