Both Medlands Beach and Bark Bay offer you the choices to relax in the sun, find a shady picnic spot, stroll along the sand or swim in the calm, azure waters.
Check in at our Kaiteriteri ticket office 20 minutes before departure. If you have already exchanged your booking confirmation for a boarding ticket, please check in at the boat.
9.20am, *10.30am (Water Taxi) or 1pm Depart Kaiteriteri and cruise to Medlands Beach (extended option stay onboard and cruise to Totaranui, then return to Anchorage).
10.20am, *11.30am or 1.50pm Disembark at Medlands Beach (extended option disembark at 12 noon).
12 noon or 3.10pm Depart Medlands Beach.
12.55 or 4.15pm Return to Kaiteriteri.

Bark Bay Falls: A 1 hr return trip (4km, 2.5 miles) exploring the forested track around Bark Bay Inlet to see Bark Bay Falls and Suspension Bridge (5 metres high).
Falls River: A 1 hr 30 min walk (5km, 3 miles) to the impressively high Swing Bridge over Falls River (15-20m depending on the tide), then return to Medlands Beach.
