Lodge Hosts and Cooks
Do you want to work in paradise? Are you a team player, keen to show visitors the best of Abel Tasman National Park with a genuine Kiwi welcome at our beachfront lodges. The positions of Cook and Housekeeper would be ideal for a couple looking for an adventurous job together.
We are expecting a busy summer season for our lodges, so we're looking to expand our team of professional hosts and cooks at Torrent Bay Lodge and Meadowbank Homestead at Awaroa, to welcome guests on our multiday trips in the national park. Exceptionally high standards of presentation are required.
Each lodge has 14 twin/double ensuite guest rooms plus staff quarters. There is no road access so you will live in the National Park four nights per week on a rolling roster, including weekends and public holidays. We are happy to consider couples for the positions of Cook and Lodge Operations Assistant.
Your accommodation and all meals are provided at lodges.
Full training will be given over a 2 week period.
