Walk 2 hours Torrent Bay to Medlands Beach with return boat transfers. This traditional favourite has a tidal landing at Torrent Bay.
Check in at our Kaiteriteri ticket office 20 minutes before departure.
9.20am or *10.30am Depart Kaiteriteri to cruise through the Astrolabe Roadstead and into Torrent Bay
10.05am or *11.15am Arrive at Torrent Bay. A dry landing is possible at high tide; at low tide you may have to wade ashore from the Vista Cruise, or take a small boat transfer to the beach.
Enjoy a walk (6.6km/4.1 miles, maximum elevation 105m/340ft) along the coastal track. Cross the swing bridge over Falls River (15–20m high depending on the tide) and continue on to Medlands Beach.
3.10pm Depart Medlands Beach
4.15pm Return to Kaiteriteri
