Walk Tonga Quarry to Medlands Beach, including the full Vista Cruise from Kaiteriteri to Tōtaranui before your walk.
Check in at our Kaiteriteri ticket office 20 minutes before departure. If you have already exchanged your booking confirmation for a boarding ticket, please check in at the boat.
9.20am Depart Kaiteriteri
11.20am Boat turns around at Tōtaranui
11.50am Arrive Tonga Quarry. Walk 2 hrs (4.1km/2.5 miles), with a gentle climb over a forested saddle (maximum elevation 120m/400ft) and around the Bark Bay Waterfall Trail. Cross the spectacular swing bridge beside Bark Bay Falls. Take some extra time to relax on the golden sands at Bark Bay beach before continuing on to picturesque Medlands Beach.
3.10pm Depart Medlands Beach
4.15pm Return to Kaiteriteri
