8.30am Meet your guide at Kaiteriteri.
9.20 am Depart Kaiteriteri for a scenic cruise past the islands and golden coves of the Astrolabe Roadstead to Torrent Bay.
10.00-10.30am On the golden, sandy beach in front of our Torrent Bay Lodge, your friendly, expert guide settles you into a stable double kayak with full instructions and safety brief. Then it's on to the water to explore the coves and islands of the granite coast.
Kayak Torrent Bay to Kaiteriteri Highlights include:Te Pukatea Bay, Adele Island Wildlife Sanctuary, and Split Apple Rock. Watch out for seals, sea birds, and Little Blue Penguins.
Around midday Pause at a sheltered cove for lunch and take time out to relax or explore on shore.
4.30pm Return to Kaiteriteri.
If 4.5 - 5 hours kayaking seems to too much for you, you can stop at a beach and your guide will arrange boat transport back to Kaiteriteri for a cost of $40 per person.
