We took the Adele Island kayak trip and our experience with the Wilson staff was superb...Our guide provided a regular stream of helpful and interesting information about the birds, trees, plants, and seals (and) also did a great job of connecting personally with all the kayakers throughout the trip. We highly recommend them.
A friendly group of fellow walkers, the scenery is superb, and the lodge accommodation excellent considering how remote they are... We can’t really say enough about how great our guides were.
We had never been on an organised tour let alone hike or kayak trip so were a bit unsure but It could not have been a better experience. Each day we had flexible itinerary options, food and luggage were taken care of and all we had to do was enjoy the stunning environment...plenty of time to actively enjoy or hang out.
We are proud to be founding members of the Abel Tasman Birdsong Trust.
Working in partnership with other commercial operators, the Department of Conservation and Project Janszoon charitable trust we have a vision for the forests and beaches of the Abel Tasman National Park to be filled with the birdsong that awakens and delights visitors.
