Everything is taken care of, so you can simply enjoy the experience

Our lodge-based trips are designed to be seamless and relaxing, with all the details taken care of — from accommodation and meals to transport and daily planning.

Stay in comfort

  • Accommodation in share twin/double room with ensuite bathroom

  • Hot showers, fresh bedding and towels provided

  • Free WiFi at lodges (access outside lodge areas requires a $5 donation to the Project Janzsoon Trust)

  • Central heating and open fire (winter), as well as drying rooms

  • Hair dryers and toiletries

  • Our generated electricity allows use of most electronic equipment, including battery chargers and sleep apnoea machines

  • Gardens and outdoor spaces with sea views

Meals & drinks

Enjoy fresh, seasonal meals prepared by our lodge hosts throughout your stay:

  • 3-course dinners

  • Cooked or continental breakfasts

  • Picnic lunches for each day

  • Snacks, fresh fruit, tea, coffee and juice

Our in-house bar offers a selection of New Zealand beers, wines and soft drinks, available for purchase (the only additional cost during your stay).

Luggage

  • We provide a lodge luggage bag (yours to keep) - 40 litre, sports-bag style, to be transported by boat between lodges

  • Bring a small day pack to travel with each day (30L packs are available to borrow)

If you have additional luggage, we recommend leaving it with your accommodation if returning there after your trip.

  • Return coach transfers from Nelson or Motueka

  • Scenic Vista Cruise along the Abel Tasman coastline

  • Flexible boat travel between lodges and beaches

  • Luggage transfers between lodges
