Walk from Torrent Bay Village to Medlands Beach to pick up your return transfer to Kaiteriteri. Cross the impressive Falls River suspension bridge (15â20 metres high, depending on the tide).
* PLEASE NOTE: the shallow tidal beach at Torrent Bay often requires a small boat transfer to get you close to shore, and can involve wading through water over your knees. The small boat transfer is not suitable for people with limited mobility or balance.
If this doesn't suit you, we recommend our Seals & Beach trip. Walk 2 hours from Tonga Quarry to Medlands Beach, crossing the spectacular swing bridge on the Waterfall Trail at Bark Bay. The bridge is only 5 metres, (16 ft) high.
