When you travel with us, part of your fare is reinvested into the protection and enhancement of Abel Tasman National Park through the Environmental Access Fee (EAF).

This fee contributes to:

  • Kaiteriteri & Abel Tasman Foreshore Fee — mandatory fees that support beach access, visitor facilities and environmental protection projects

  • Abel Tasman Birdsong Trust — our voluntary contribution to the local charitable trust we helped establish in 2007, supporting native wildlife restoration

EAF pricing

From 1 October 2025:

  • Adults: $7–$14 per trip

  • Children: $3.50–$7 per trip

The fee is:

  • Shown separately during booking for day trip return journeys

  • Included in pricing for multiday lodge-based trips and one-way boat fares
