Kaiteriteri Cruise, Walk & Kayak
Explore the heart of the National Park, before your introduction to kayaking at Kaiteriteri.

Cruise to picturesque Medlands Beach where you can relax, swim or take a walk. Please note: the *10.30 am departure allows only 30 minutes at Medlands Beach. This is not enough time to walk to Bark Bay.
12.00 midday, cruise back to Kaiteriteri to meet your kayak Guide who will give you full instructions before taking you to explore the beautiful coast of popular sea-side resort.
You don't need any previous experience, and we supply all the technical equipment you need.
- Stable double kayak so two people share the paddling effort. If you are travelling on your own, your Guide will find you a suitable paddling partner.
- Spray jacket
- Buoyancy aid
- Dry bags for spare clothing and camera gear but please note we cannot guarantee to keep sensitive electronic equipment dry
- Maximum 8 people per Guide

9.00 or 10.00 am: Check in at our Kaiteriteri Ticket Office. If you already have your tickets, check in at the boat on the beach at 9.10 am
9.20 or *10.30 am: Vista Cruise departs Kaiteriteri for a scenic cruise along the spectacular golden coast to Medlands Beach.
10.20 or 11.30 am: Land at Medlands Beach nestled in lush native forest. A 10 minute stroll takes you to Bark Bay where you can relax, in the sun or shade. Allow yourself to be tempted to swim in the safe azure waters. A 10 minute walk takes you back to Medlands Beach.
11.50 pm: Our boat crew greets you at Medlands Beach to board the boat.
12.00 midday: The Vista Cruise departs to return to Kaiteriteri.
1.00 pm: Your friendly, expert Guide greets you on the golden sands of Kaiteriteri beach, and settles you into a stable double kayak with full instructions and safety brief. Then, it's onto the water to explore and have fun, confident you can enjoy a safe paddling experience. Your Guide knows all the best, secret spots taking into account the tides, weather and your interests and abilities. Watch out for our resident Blue Penguins and other sea birds along the coast. Total paddling time about 1 hour
3.00 pm return to the main beach at Kaiteriteri Beach
*If you choose the later 10.30 am Vista Cruise departure, you will have only 20 minutes at Medlands Beach. This is a very pretty beach, with a lookout over the bay, but there will not be enough time to walk to Bark Bay.
