Join us at Torrent Bay for a day of guided sea kayaking in the heart of Abel Tasman National Park. Your guide designs each day to make the most of tides and weather conditions. This can include Cleopatra's Pool, seals on Pinnacle Island and kayak sailing.

Join us in the Park to kayak some of the best territory on the coast around Torrent Bay and Pinnacle Island. Min age 12 years.
10.05am Meet your friendly, expert guide at Torrent Bay Lodge, on the beachfront. Free pack storage is available at the lodge.
10.15am Settle into your stable double kayak with full instructions and safety brief from your guide. Then it's on to the water to explore the coves and islands of the granite coast.
Your guide ensures you make the most of the day according to the weather, tides, your interests and abilities. Watch out for resident blue penguins and other sea birds along the coast. Enjoy the antics of the seals on Pinnacle Island (weather permitting). Stop at a sheltered golden cove for a lunch break. On your return journey, in favourable winds, hoist a sale to ride the breeze.
3.00pm Return to Torrent Bay
From Torrent Bay, you can choose to stay in the Park, or join the boat to depart Torrent Bay 3.20pm and return to Kaiteriteri 4.15pm.
