Low Season (May to September) Options

There is no winter in Abel Tasman National Park. Low season is a time when many travelers head North for summer, or stay South for the ski season.

Discover the tranquillity of our finest coastal National Park when most people are heading for the ski slopes or a beach in the Northern Hemisphere. Our winter sunshine is often warmer than summer on the other side of the world. Average daily temperatures vary by only 10 C degrees between seasons. More details here.

We have a full schedule of overnight trips operating. To guarantee a departure, we require a minimum number of 4 guests (or equivalent 4 x per person cost). 

With a minimum of 6 guests, we can operate our full High Season schedule, staying at both Torrent Bay and Meadowbank Homestead At Awaroa.
