Meet Marion

Marion Chastel

As an avid sports fan, Marion has always understood the importance and necessity of stretching, and first attended yoga classes with that in mind.

When she started facing stress and life challenges, she felt both the mental and physical benefits that yoga has to offer and she was hooked.

She also discovered meditation and mindfulness while travelling and visiting Budddhist centres around the world. 

In 2016, Marion enrolled in a yoga teacher training course at a Sivananda Ashram in Canada, and ended up living there for 6 months. She followed a strict discipline and was able to deepen her personal practice. 

She enjoys teaching hatha yoga and practising meditation in ashrams and retreat centres in New Zealand and France, as well as cooking for their guests and residents. 

For the last few seasons, Marion has enjoyed working as a chef at paradisiacal Wilsons lodges.
